Nassoi

Nassoi (Greek: Νάσσοι, also Νάσοι - Nasoi, Latin: Nasi) was a place in Arcadian Azania in Arcadia, Greece. The modern village Nasia took its name from Nassoi.

Nassoi was the place where the waters from the Orchomenus plain resurfaced as the river Tragus. The village at this resurgence was called Rheunus.^[1] It was situated at 7 stades (1.1 km) from the city Caphyae and 50 stades (8 km) from the river Ladon.^[2]
