Narayanaghatta
Narayana Ghatta is a small village in Anekal Taluk, Bangalore, India.
There is an ancient temple Sri Bhuneela Sametha Cheluva Champaka Varadaraja Swamy. Built by the erstwhile Cholas King in late 6th Century.
There is a Sculpture of Kshetrapalaka in the temple premises.
There was a suvarna mukhi(Kalyani) behind Sri varadarajaswamy temple which is now closed & built a library.
There is also some Scripts that are carved on stones near Suvarna mukhi related to this temple.
There is also Shiva temple which is 400 years old and Chowdeshwari and maaramma Temple.
The village has a population of around 750 people.Volleyball was the most popular game in Narayanaghatta.
Narayanaghatta village is well known for its beauty and culture.Many people from Karnataka and other states come to the temples in Narayanaghatta. Recently lots of well known builders in bangalore started their projects in and around Narayanaghatta.[1]

Actual Temple is of Sri Bhoonila sametha Cheluva champakadama varadaraja swamy temple (Locally known as Sri Rama temple). Three main temples are arranged in a triangle; each temple has its own car for god. About four car festivals are held in a year, at a different times. One of the most famous festival is the Madduramma festival held in the month of March or April. This festival consists mainly of "car" (ratha / kurju) which is 102.5 ft tall, drawn by many pairs of oxen and cows for nearly 5 km. This festival is attracts nearly 50,000.00 spectators.
