Nanase Kiryu (木龍 七瀬 Kiryū Nanase, born October 31, 1989) is a professional association football player who played forward for the Japan women's national football team. She currently plays for Guangdong Haiyin (Gugangzhou) in the Chinese Women's Division 2 League.
Playing career
Club
FC Komazawa
Kiryu played for FC Komazawa from 2002 to 2007. During the 2007 season, she was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and was the team's top scorer.[1]
NTV Beleza
Kiryu played for NTV Beleza in Japan's first-division Nadeshiko League. During her career with the team, she scored 40 goals in her 127 appearances. After playing one season with Sky Blue FC, she returned to NTV Beleza at the beginning of the 2015 season.[1]
Sky Blue FC
In February 2014, Kiryu signed with Sky Blue FC in the National Women's Soccer League,[2] where she played for one season before returning to Beleza.
Guangdong Haiyin(广东海印)
In January 2016, Kiryu signed with China Division 2 club Guangdong Haiyin, located in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
International
Kiryu made her debut for the Japan women's national football team in 2010 during the Bicentennial Women’s Cup in Chile.[1] She competed for Japan at the 2010 Asian Cup and 2012 Algarve Cup.[1] In 2014, she was called up for the 2014 Algarve Cup.[3]
