Mount View High School is a co-educational government school in the West-Cessnock area of Australia.[1]
The school enrollment was 1055 students as of 2010 for students in years 7 to 12.[2] It provides the school certificate in year 10 and the Higher School Certificate (HSC) in year 12. It was established in 1985[3][4] due to a need for a second high school in the Cessnock area (along with Cessnock High School) and commenced with 212 students and 14 staff.
The school colours are red, grey and white, and the sports uniform is red, white and black.
The school conducts a working vineyard and the P&C sells the wine to the public to raise funds.
