The garden cosmet (Mompha subbistrigella) is a moth of the Momphidae family. It is found in most of Europe.
The wingspan is 7-11.5 mm. Adults are on wing from late summer to late spring.[2]
The larvae feed within the seedpods of Epilobium montanum and occasionally on other Epilobium species.
