Miss Dominica is a national Beauty pageant in Dominica.
History
Miss Dominica pageant was held for first time in 1978. Since that year Dominica marked in the Miss World competition[1] and continued in 1985 competed in the Miss Universe competition.[2]
As of 2013, Miss Dominica Organization declared to return at Miss World pageant in Jakarta, Indonesia. The reigning of Miss Dominica, Leslassa Armour-Shillingford represented her country at the pageant.[3]
Competitions
Miss Dominica will compete among the other contestants over the month for a number of awards, including Beach Fashion, Top Model, Sports and Fitness, Beauty with a Purpose, Talent Competition and the World Fashion Designer Award.[4]
