The MEP functions as a central point among the various ministries and government agencies with respect to streamlining collective efforts towards unified socioeconomic goals. In this vein, the MEP offers services directly to other government entities – in addition, to internal government employees- that subsequently provide services to the public. In effect, the MEP serves as a collaborative facilitator to achieve national priorities.
In line with the Kingdom’s historical economic and planning trajectory, which spans over 40 years, the MEP continues to align all government agencies’ work in a coordinated manner in order to achieve the priorities of our policy makers, and ultimately, ensure the country’s sustained socioeconomic development.
