Michael Evan "Mike" Rowland (born January 31, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois) is former Major League Baseball pitcher.
MLB career
Rowland played for the San Francisco Giants in 1980 and 1981. Rowland garnered popularity in his short stint as a Giants mid-relief pitcher through his trademark petite handlebar moustache and permed hair.
Mike's lifetime major league batting average is 1.000. He was 1-1 with 1 RBI.
Amateur career
Mike Rowland played baseball at Millikin University as part of the class of 1975. Mike was inducted into the Millikin University Athletics Hall of Fame as a part of the Induction Class of 1984.[1]
