Michael Freda is the First Selectman of North Haven, Connecticut since December 2009. Before being elected to the position of First Selectman, Freda had been involved in many aspects of business including leading and managing corporations, new business development, working with Fortune 500 companies, marketing, operational management, strategic planning, finance, legal, and mergers and acquisitions. He has been a member of the advisory boards of Ferrero USA, Bozzutos, Inc., DowBrands, a division of Dow Chemical, Lipton, Unilever, Rich Products, Chef America, a division of Nestle. He has also worked with other companies and had been a guest speaker at their national corporate meetings and was Chairman of various leadership councils in the consumer products industry.
