Michael Dean (born 1977) is an artist living and working in London UK. In 2016 he was nominated for the Turner Prize.[1]
Dean was born in Newcastle and his sculptural work is focused on typefaces.[2] He graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2001 with a BA Fine Art (Studio Practice and Contemporary Critical Theory).[3]
Dean’s solo exhibitions include Sic Glyphs at South London Gallery and Qualities of Violence at De Appel arts centre, Amsterdam.[4]
