Med-X is a hardcore punk band originally formed in El Paso, Texas in 2003. They have since reformed in Austin, Texas. In 2005 they were featured in the magazine Punk Rock Confidential, which is owned by Fat Mike of NOFX. When asked about his favorite local bands, and while living in El Paso, H.R. of the Bad Brains was quoted as saying "I have a few standouts. I love Fixed Idea and Med-X who are hard workers. Lots of very good bands in El Paso". Med-x have been through numerous lineup changes since their formation, but have continued playing gigs frequently. They have shared the stage with bands such as; The Casualties, Subhumans, Varukers, The Vibrators, The Adicts, and more.
