Maya Ali is a Pakistani actress, model and VJ.
Career
Ali started her career as video jockey at SAMAA TV, Waqt News and Dunya News.[1] Ali has worked in dramas such as Durr-e-Shahwar, Aik Nayee Cinderella and Aunn Zara the last two with Osman Khalid Butt.[2][3][4] In 2014, Ali was cast in Shanakht. Ali played the role of Qurat-ul-Ain, who follows Islam but is criticized by her family and society.[5] Ali was also cast in role of Saman in Zid alongside Ahsan Khan [6] in 2014. In 2015, Ali worked in Mehreen Jabbar's Mera Naam Yousuf Hai. She played the role of Zulaikha, alongside Imran Abbas Naqvi.[7] The same year Ali appeared in Diyar-e-Dil, in which she played the role of Faraah alongside Osman Khalid Butt, Sanam Saeed, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq.[3]
