Marko Kristal (born 2 June 1973) is an Estonian football manager and former player.

Playing career

Club

Kristal played most of his career in FC Flora with whom he won 7 Estonian championships. He also had spells with IF Elfsborg and FC Lahti.[1]

International

Between 1992 and 2005 Kristal earned remarkable 143 caps, including 42 successive matches between 1995 and 1998. He also scored 9 goals. He earned his first official cap as a substitute on 3 June 1992, when Estonia met Slovenia in a friendly match. In 2001, Kristal became the youngest ever European to appear in 100 international matches. On 20 April 2005 he ended his international career with a substitution against Norway.[1][2]

Manager career

Kristal has been manager of Tammeka and assistant manager of Estonia national football team. He currently manages Levadia with whom he won his first Estonian championship as manager in 2013.
