Maria Borounov (born 14 May 1982 in Perth, Australia) is an Australian ice dancer. She competes with husband Evgueni Borounov. The two were married in 2002.[1] They are the 2007 Australian national champions. As of the 2011 Four Continents, they are ranked 49th in the world by the International Skating Union. Maria currently teaches at Cockburn Ice Arena.
