Manitowoc Public School District is a school district in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. It has about 600 teachers and other employees and about 5,300 students. Holzman is the superintendent. Manitowoc Public School District is one of only two school districts in the state of Wisconsin whose local high school does not serve grade 9, the other being Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools in Wisconsin Rapids.
History
In April 2015 a $2 million referendum was approved to increase the district's budget cap.[1]
