Mandela and de Klerk is a 1997 television film directed by Joseph Sargent. Starring Sidney Poitier and Michael Caine.[1] it documents the negotiations between De Klerk and Mandela for the transition to end apartheid in South Africa and was nominated for numerous awards in 1997 and 1998.[2]
