Mahawar Koli

Mahawar / Mahaur are sub-caste of the Koli community in Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

In much of North India (including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh), it is regarded as a family name. However, the name does not necessarily denote a unique paternal lineage.
