Lorenzo Pellegrini (born 19 June 1996) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Sassuolo.[1]
Club career
Pellegrini is a youth product from Roma youth academy.
He made his Serie A debut on 22 March 2015 against Cesena, replacing Salih Uçan after 67 minutes of a 0–1 away win.[2]
On 30 June 2015 Pellegrini was signed by Sassuolo for €1.25 million.[3] He scored his first Serie A goal on 6 December 2015 against Sampdoria.
International career
On 2 June 2016 he made his debut with the Italy U21 team, in a friendly match lost 1–0 against France.
