List of women's Twenty20 International cricket grounds

Twenty-two countries have hosted at least one match of women's Twenty20 International cricket.
The County Ground, Hove (pictured above), located in the English county of Sussex, hosted the inaugural women's Twenty20 International in 2004.

In total, 107 venues have hosted at least one match of women's Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket.[1] Twenty20 Internationals are the most recent form of international women's cricket to be introduced, and also the shortest, played using the reduce Twenty20 format. Since the first match, played at the County Ground, Hove, in 2004, over 300 Twenty20 Internationals have been played,[2] as opposed to 138 Test matches and over 900 One Day International (ODI) games.[3][4] This imbalance in the number of games played in each format is reflected in the number of venues used – 73 grounds have been used for women's Tests,[5] while 286 separate venues have hosted ODIs.[6]

Twenty-three countries have hosted at least one women's T20I match, although nine of those are the mostly small island states that make up the West Indies Cricket Board. England and India have provided the most venues, with 23 and 15, respectively, while 14 countries have hosted T20Is at only a single venue. Every team that has played in the T20I format has hosted games, although Pakistan had not hosted a match until very recently, owing to security concerns. There have also been three venues used in countries that do not currently play at T20I level – China, Qatar, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.[1] The ground that has hosted the most Twenty20 Internationals is the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet, Bangladesh, which has hosted 24 games (all of which came at the 2014 World Twenty20).[7][8]
