List of photovoltaic power stations in planning or under construction
The following is a list of photovoltaic power stations in planning or under construction that are larger than 100 megawatts (MW) in capacity. This list was split from its source article, List of photovoltaic power stations.
Total completed global solar capacity reached 231 gigawatts (GW) in 2015.[1] Growth of new solar deployment continues to advance, and the global pipeline of planned or under construction solar PV has now surpassed 200 GW.[2]
Newly planned or under construction solar PV is distributed globally, with the United States and China currently leading planned deployments by volume.[3] India also seeks a leadership role in planned deployments, under the energy policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a stated goal of 100 GW by the year 2022.[4]
