List of awards and nominations received by Wisin & Yandel
Wisin & Yandel is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo, composed of Juan Luis Morera Luna (Wisin) and Llandel Veguilla Malavé (Yandel). They started their career in 1998 and have been together since, winning several awards during that time, including a Grammy Award in 2009. In late 2013, they announced to take a pause in their careers as a duo, after their Líderes tour.[1][2] According to Yandel, they have not disbanded.[3]
Wisin released his first solo album El Sobreviviente in 2004, and ten years later, in 2014, his second solo studio album, El Regreso del Sobreviviente was released. He is currently finishing his third solo album: Los Vaqueros: La Trilogía, scheduled to be released in June 2015.
Yandel released his first solo album Quien Contra Mí in September 2003, and his second solo studio album, De Líder a Leyenda, was released in November 2013, which was certified Gold (Latin) by the RIAA in 2014.[4] He is currently working on his third solo album, titled Dangerous.
