This is a list of all tornadoes that were confirmed by local offices of the National Weather Service in the United States in April 2011.

EF2 E of Blevins Hempstead AR 33°52′N 93°31′W / 33.87°N 93.52°W / 33.87; -93.52 (Dunlap (Apr. 4, EF2)) 1340 – 1342 1.84 miles (2.96 km) 200 yd (180 m) Four chicken houses were destroyed, and several hundred chickens were killed. A small trailer nearby was picked up and thrown 20 yd (18 m) north into a chicken house, and numerous trees were downed as well. Two people were injured: the occupant of the trailer and a worker on the farm.[3]

Many trees were downed along the path.[4]
EF1 Whelen Springs area Clark AR 33°50′N 93°08′W / 33.83°N 93.13°W / 33.83; -93.13 (Whelen Springs (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1408 – 1414 3.96 miles (6.37 km) 200 yd (180 m) Shingles and siding were blown off of a house, and the TV antenna was blown over. A large tree crushed a tractor shed, a canning shed and farm gates were destroyed, and numerous trees and power lines were downed.[5]
EF1 S of Waldo Columbia AR 33°17′N 93°23′W / 33.28°N 93.38°W / 33.28; -93.38 (Waldo (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1428 – 1429 0.89 miles (1.43 km) 75 yd (69 m) The tin was ripped off a small barn, a home and an adjacent garage sustained minor roof damage, a small shed had half of its roof peeled off, and the roof of an abandoned home was ripped off and thrown southeast. Many trees were downed as well.[6]
EF1 E of Norphlet Union AR 33°19′N 92°40′W / 33.32°N 92.67°W / 33.32; -92.67 (Norphlet (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1512 – 1513 1.28 miles (2.06 km) 100 yd (91 m) The tornado touched down in eastern Norphlet and moved east, blowing down the cover of a gas station and causing minor roof damage to several homes. Also, a carport collapsed on a vehicle, a small metal outbuilding sustained minor damage, and many trees were downed.[7]

EF2 Hinkleville area Ballard KY 37°01′N 88°59′W / 37.02°N 88.98°W / 37.02; -88.98 (Hinkleville (Apr. 4, EF2)) 1520 – 1527 6.42 miles (10.33 km) 300 yd (270 m) A large farm building was destroyed, the roof was removed from a two-story house, and a garage was leveled. Two mobile homes were overturned, a third mobile home was shifted off of its foundation, several other homes sustained minor roof damage, and a few chicken barns sustained damage, some heavy. Numerous farm buildings and grain bins were destroyed, and dozens of trees were downed as well. One person was injured.[9]
EF0 Heath area McCracken KY 37°05′N 88°49′W / 37.09°N 88.81°W / 37.09; -88.81 (Hinkleville (Apr. 4, EF0)) 1530 – 1531 0.51 miles (0.82 km) 50 yd (46 m) The roof of a farm building was lifted off, two vehicles parked in a building were heavily damaged, and large tree limbs were downed.[10]
EF1 Greenville area Muhlenberg KY 37°11′N 87°11′W / 37.19°N 87.18°W / 37.19; -87.18 (Greenville (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1655 – 1702 7.08 miles (11.39 km) 150 yd (140 m) The tornado struck a mobile home park, overturning and destroying a mobile home and blowing a second off of its foundation. Also, a camper trailer was overturned, several houses sustained shingle damage, and several trees were downed. Three people were injured, all inside the mobile home that was destroyed.[11]
EF2 Hopkinsville area Christian KY 36°47′N 87°24′W / 36.78°N 87.40°W / 36.78; -87.40 (Greenville (Apr. 4, EF2)) 1704 – 1710 5.26 miles (8.47 km) 200 yd (180 m) An industrial warehouse-type building sustained heavy damage, with large sections of the roof removed and small sections of the exterior walls either peeled back or blown in. A rooftop HVAC unit was blown off as well. In front of the building, steel utility poles were bent almost to the ground. Elsewhere, several barns were destroyed, metal roofs were ripped off of two homes, and dozens of trees were downed. Seven people were injured, all of whom were inside the building.[12]
EF1 Needmore area Butler KY 37°05′N 86°41′W / 37.09°N 86.69°W / 37.09; -86.69 (Needmore (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1726 – 1729 3.38 miles (5.44 km) 50 yd (46 m) Several houses sustained minor roof damage, with a large section of one house's roof removed. A mobile home was moved from its foundation and several trees were downed as well.[13]
EF1 Neafus area Grayson KY 37°23′N 86°34′W / 37.38°N 86.56°W / 37.38; -86.56 (Neafus (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1738 – 1742 3.41 miles (5.49 km) 125 yd (114 m) Metal roofing on a barn was ripped off and blown into the woods, a small well-constructed shed was pushed over on its side, and another small shed was destroyed. A house had its metal roof ripped off, a metal outbuilding was destroyed, and numerous trees were downed as well.[14]
EF1 Caneyville area Grayson KY 37°26′N 86°29′W / 37.43°N 86.49°W / 37.43; -86.49 (Caneyville (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1741 – 1743 1.01 miles (1.63 km) 200 yd (180 m) The tornado touched down in Caneyville, downing a tree onto a restaurant. The metal roof was blown off of the cinder block dugout at a baseball field, with a number of cinder blocks being blown several feet to the east, and three large empty metal grain bins were moved off their foundations, causing damage to nearby objects. The metal roof was blown off a mobile home and insulation was blown along the ground and into nearby trees. A tractor-trailer was blown over and numerous trees were downed as well.[15]
EF1 W of Waverly Humpherys TN 36°05′N 87°49′W / 36.08°N 87.81°W / 36.08; -87.81 (Waverly (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1819 – 1822 2.9 miles (4.7 km) 75 yd (69 m) The tornado touched down west of Waverly and entered the city, downing dozens of trees, damaging several businesses, and tearing off signs and overhauls. Several homes and vehicles were crushed by fallen trees as well.[16]
EF1 Tennessee City area Dickson TN 36°06′N 87°32′W / 36.10°N 87.54°W / 36.10; -87.54 (Tennessee City (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1833 – 1841 7.25 miles (11.67 km) 150 yd (140 m) In Tennessee City, several structures sustained significant roof damage, including a fire hall. Elsewhere, several outbuildings and barns were heavily damaged. Hundreds of trees were downed along the path.[17]
EF0 Sulphur Springs area Cheatham TN 36°15′N 87°04′W / 36.25°N 87.07°W / 36.25; -87.07 (Sulphur Spgs (Apr. 4, EF0)) 1852 – 1853 0.81 miles (1.30 km) 50 yd (46 m) Dozens of trees were downed. The tornado likely extended into an inaccessible recreation area on the east side of the Cumberland River.[18]
EF1 Smyrna area Davidson, Rutherford TN 35°59′N 86°40′W / 35.98°N 86.66°W / 35.98; -86.66 (Smyrna (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1920 – 1922 4.9 miles (7.9 km) 100 yd (91 m) Numerous power poles were snapped, hundreds of trees were downed, several fences were blown down, a few small storage buildings were destroyed, and numerous homes sustained roof and siding damage. Various pieces of debris were scattered hundreds of yards. A tractor-trailer was blown over and several cargo trailers were overturned on Interstate 24 as well.[19][20]
EF1 S of Georgetown Grant, LaSalle LA 31°43′N 92°25′W / 31.72°N 92.41°W / 31.72; -92.41 (Zion (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1942 – 1945 3.26 miles (5.25 km) 275 yd (251 m) Several homes sustained mostly roof damage either directly from the tornado or from fallen trees, and a shop had its tin roof peeled off and thrown forward into trees. Many trees were downed along the path.[21][22]
EF0 Outville area Licking OH 39°59′N 82°34′W / 39.98°N 82.57°W / 39.98; -82.57 (Otia (Apr. 4, EF0)) 1946 – 1947 0.9 miles (1.4 km) 50 yd (46 m) The roof was removed from a larger sized metal garage, with a supporting post snapped and one side of the building blown inward. Metal doors on the opposite side were blown outward, a smaller garage sustained major door damage, and a large section of metal and wood roofing was removed from a large barn, with debris being scattered 0.25 miles (0.40 km) downwind. Four pieces of debris were impaled in the ground. Also, a smaller storage shed lost its door, minor roof damage was observed on the corner of one house, and five trees were downed.[23]
EF1 Otia area Monroe KY 36°43′N 85°37′W / 36.71°N 85.61°W / 36.71; -85.61 (Otia (Apr. 4, EF1)) 1955 – 1956 0.19 miles (310 m) 75 yd (69 m) A barn was damaged, with parts of it thrown approximately 400 yards (370 m) towards the east, and numerous trees were downed.[24]
EF2 N of Jena to SW of Enterprise LaSalle, Catahoula LA 31°48′N 92°08′W / 31.80°N 92.13°W / 31.80; -92.13 (Summerville (Apr. 4, EF2)) 1958 – 2004 13 miles (21 km) 440 yd (400 m) The tornado touched down northeast of Summerville in LaSalle Parish, downing many trees. After crossing into Catahoula Parish, it peeled the tin roof off of a home and threw it into the front yard. Also, a mobile home was blown down a ravine and completely destroyed, a covered travel trailer was blown over on its side, and four power poles and several trees were snapped.[25][26]
EF1 SW of Albany Clinton KY 36°39′N 85°11′W / 36.65°N 85.18°W / 36.65; -85.18 (Albany Arpt (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2014 – 2015 0.25 miles (400 m) 150 yd (140 m) A large barn used for boat storage had its roof lifted off and thrown approximately 90 yards (82 m), a second storage shed was destroyed, and a house had its windows blown out.[27]
EF0 NNE of Seventy Six Clinton KY 36°48′N 85°08′W / 36.80°N 85.14°W / 36.80; -85.14 (Seventy Six (Apr. 4, EF0)) 2016 – 2017 0.22 miles (350 m) 60 yd (55 m) Multiple trees were downed.[28]
EF2 SSE of Cooter Point, LA to NNW of Grand Gulf, MS Tensas (LA), Claiborne (MS) LA, MS 31°55′N 91°31′W / 31.91°N 91.51°W / 31.91; -91.51 (Cooter Point (Apr. 4, EF2)) 2043 – 2114 28.01 miles (45.08 km) 880 yd (800 m) Numerous homes, outbuildings, farms, a water treatment plant, and an antebellum home were damaged. A tractor-trailer was flipped, a grain silo sustained a large dent on its side, hundreds of trees were downed, and numerous power poles were snapped. One person was injured.[29][30]
EF1 NW of Williamsburg Whitley KY 36°50′N 84°13′W / 36.83°N 84.22°W / 36.83; -84.22 (Williamsburg (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2103 – 2106 1.74 miles (2.80 km) 880 yd (800 m) The tornado downed many trees and caused significant damage to several barns and outbuildings.[31]
EF1 S of Teaberry Floyd KY 37°23′N 82°38′W / 37.39°N 82.64°W / 37.39; -82.64 (Beaver (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2121 – 2126 0.4 miles (640 m) 100 yd (91 m) A mobile home was destroyed, and approximately 100 trees were downed.[32]
EF1 N of Utica Hinds MS 32°08′N 90°38′W / 32.13°N 90.63°W / 32.13; -90.63 (Utica (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2142 – 2145 4.02 miles (6.47 km) 440 yd (400 m) Two outbuildings were destroyed, and many pine trees were downed.[33]
EF1 Braxton area Simpson MS 32°01′N 90°03′W / 32.01°N 90.05°W / 32.01; -90.05 (Touchstone (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2236 – 2242 7.38 miles (11.88 km) 0.75 mi (1.21 km) Large tornado developed west of Braxton and moved through town before lifting to the east of town. It downed many trees and power poles, with some of the trees landing on homes and vehicles.[34]
EF1 W of Ruth to ESE of Topeka Lincoln, Lawrence MS 31°23′N 90°22′W / 31.38°N 90.36°W / 31.38; -90.36 (Ruth (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2248 – 2307 17.28 miles (27.81 km) 600 yd (550 m) The tornado touched down west of Ruth and quickly intensified as it entered the city, downing many trees, destroying the awning of a gas station, and blowing out the back wall of the volunteer fire department building. A nearby church sustained extensive shingle damage, and the steeple was blown off. A number of homes sustained minor to moderate damage either from the tornado itself or from fallen trees. One tree fell on an RV, destroying it.[35][36]
EF0 NE of Athens McMinn TN 35°28′N 84°35′W / 35.46°N 84.59°W / 35.46; -84.59 (Athens (Apr. 4, EF0)) 2336 – 2340 0.1 miles (0.16 km) 25 yd (23 m) Eight trees were downed.[37]
EF1 Franklinton area Washington LA 30°51′N 90°08′W / 30.85°N 90.14°W / 30.85; -90.14 (Franklinton (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2340 0.2 miles (320 m) 75 yd (69 m) Brief tornado completely removed a large section of the roof of a home and caused minor roof damage to two mobile homes. Several large trees were downed as well.[38]
EF1 Clio area Livingston LA 30°19′N 90°34′W / 30.32°N 90.57°W / 30.32; -90.57 (Clio (Apr. 4, EF1)) 2342 0.5 miles (0.80 km) 50 yd (46 m) A tornado briefly touched down, uprooting or snapping many trees. A metal roof was peeled off one home.[39]
EF0 Gramercy area St. James LA 30°04′N 90°42′W / 30.06°N 90.70°W / 30.06; -90.70 (Gramercy (Apr. 4, EF0)) 2350 – 2352 0.94 miles (1.51 km) 50 yd (46 m) An attached carport was lifted away from a home, causing significant damage to the structure, and several houses sustained minor to moderate roof damage. Many trees were downed as well.[40]
EF1 Bogalusa area Washington LA 30°40′N 89°58′W / 30.67°N 89.97°W / 30.67; -89.97 (Bogalusa (Apr. 4, EF1)) 0001 0.2 miles (320 m) 75 yd (69 m) A camping trailer was lifted off of the ground and thrown 20 yards (18 m) into another camper, and sheet metal, tin roofing, and an awning were blown roughly 50 to 75 yards (46 to 69 m) and wrapped around a tree trunk about 20 feet (6.1 m) off the ground. Numerous trees were downed as well.[41]
EF1 Poplarville area Pearl River MS 30°40′N 89°27′W / 30.67°N 89.45°W / 30.67; -89.45 (Poplarville (Apr. 4, EF1)) 0043 0.25 miles (400 m) 50 yd (46 m) About 40 percent of a metal roof was blown off a house, with a few roof beams broken off; both were thrown approximately 150 yd (140 m) to the east. Multiple trees were downed as well.[42]
EF1 NW of Neely to SSW of State Line Greene MS 31°16′N 88°50′W / 31.27°N 88.83°W / 31.27; -88.83 (Avera (Apr. 4, EF1)) 0043 – 0103 19.42 miles (31.25 km) 100 yd (91 m) Several homes and a church suffered minor to moderate roof damage, a metal barn was destroyed near Avera, and thousands of trees were downed.[43]
EF1 NE of Carters Lake Gilmer GA 34°38′N 84°35′W / 34.64°N 84.59°W / 34.64; -84.59 (Roundtop (Apr. 4, EF1)) 0133 – 0136 2.64 miles (4.25 km) 880 yd (800 m) Hundreds of trees were downed, causing minor to major damage to approximately 100 homes.[44]
EF0 Elders area Gilmer GA 34°43′N 84°36′W / 34.72°N 84.60°W / 34.72; -84.60 (Elders (Apr. 4, EF0)) 0134 – 0136 1.83 miles (2.95 km) 880 yd (800 m) Hundreds of trees were downed, six chicken houses were either heavily damaged or destroyed, a horse stable was destroyed, and three outbuildings were damaged.[45]
EF1 Fontainebleau area Jackson MS 30°24′N 88°43′W / 30.40°N 88.72°W / 30.40; -88.72 (Fontainebleau (Apr. 4, EF1)) 0145 0.1 miles (160 m) 75 yd (69 m) Roofing was peeled off a few metal commercial buildings, the windows of two houses were blown out, and large sections of two fences were blown down. Several trees were downed, and the limbs of a few large trees were snapped.[46]

Georgia

EF2 WSW of Dubois Dodge 32°16′N 83°19′W / 32.27°N 83.32°W / 32.27; -83.32 (Dubois (Apr. 5, EF2)) 0639 3 miles (4.8 km) 1 death - A small but strong tornado destroyed a double-wide mobile home with three people inside. One of the occupants was killed while the other two were injured. Before dissipating, the tornado damaged another mobile home and uprooted several trees.[49]
