Leung Che-cheung BBS MH JP (Chinese: 梁志祥) (born 1957 in Hong Kong) is a member of Hong Kong Legislative Council (Geographical constituency New Territories West) and the former Chairman of the Yuen Long District Council for Tin Yiu in Tin Shui Wai. He is a member of Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, a pro-Beijing party in Hong Kong and the Chairman of the New Territories Association of Societies.[1]
Background
In 1998, Leung began serving as vice chairman of Yuen Long District Council, and was elected as chairman in 2008. In 2011, he joined the Election Committee for Regional District Council. Leung was elected as a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong[2]
