Leonard Lenihan was the Chairman of the Erie County Democratic Committee in Erie County, New York.[1] He is a former Chairman of the Erie County Legislature and a former county personnel commissioner. He was a Presidential Elector for Sen. John Kerry and Sen. John Edwards in 2004. His wife, Kathleen Lenihan, is the Community Liaison for Congresswoman Louise M. Slaughter (D-NY) of the 28th Congressional District.
Mr. Lenihan has a Masters of Public Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State University.
Mr. Lenihan was elected chair of the Erie County Democratic Committee in 2002.
