L. Sasikala Pushpa is a member of the Parliament of India representing Tamil Nadu in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of parliament.[1] She was mayor of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation from 2011 to 2014.
She was expelled from AIADMK party on 1st august 2016 for slaping DMK MP Tiruchi Siva at Delhi IGI airport.[2][3]
