Kostas Stavrothanasopoulos (Greek: Κώστας Σταυροθανασόπουλος, born 6 February 1992) is a Greek footballer, who plays for Akropolis IF in Sweden as an attacking midfielder/forward.
Career
Kostas Stavrothanasopoulos started his career at the youth teams of Panionios, and was promoted to the first team in july 2009. He signed a professional, three years deal with Panionios in december 2011. After one year of loan in Thrasyvoulos 2012, Stavrothanasopoulos returned to Panionios and stayed there for two years. In february 2015, Kostas signed a contract with the swedish division one club, Akropolis IF. He has also been a member of the greek u-19 national team. He made one appearance in september 2011 against Montenegro. [1]
