Kimimon
Kimimon is a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It debuted in November 2009[1] and has since released multiple updates.[2] Kimimon is a digital pet game, where players raise a unique virtual pet from baby into adulthood. The pets grow based on the player’s overall score.
One of Kimimons most notable features is the way it utilizes the unique hardware features of the iPhone and iPod Touch. It responds to a variety of player actions such as shake for disciplining or washing, pinching & poking for affection, and blowing into the mic to give affection or to dry.
Features
- Food - Kimimons are fed niblets throughout the first stage. In the following stages, players gain access to the Food Market to purchase food items. Food items at the store alternate daily. Each food item affects the health and diet levels of the pet differently.
- Clothes – Beginning the second stage, Kimimon can start wearing clothing items such as hats, sunglasses purchased from the store in the village. Clothing items at the store alternate daily. Once the pet reaches the adult stage, it can begin purchasing clothing items from a second clothing store for the body including tops, bottoms, shoes, and other accessories.
- Camera – Snapshots of the pet can be taken from the home screen which are then stored in the Photo application in the iPhone or iPod Touch.
- Modpod – The Modpod in the village allows users to change the looks of their pets. There are twelve modifiable groups of physical features which become available throughout the game.
- Bank – Starting from the second stage, players start earning a daily allowance. The amount of allowance is determined by the health level last recorded in the previous play session.
- Minigames – Players can earn more money on top of their allowance by playing mini-games. It is possible to earn huge sums of money if players do well in mini-games.
- Bath – In order to keep cleanliness levels down, players must remove their pet’s waste as well as give it baths regularly.
- Affection – Kimimons can be disciplined as well as kissed, petted, teased, hugged, and poked.
- Requests – One way to earn coins and accelerate the growth of the pet is by responding to specific requests made by the pet. Each request that is satisfied rewards the player with coins and/or points.
- Medicine – The pets can die if their health status deteriorates due to neglect in its happiness, hunger, and cleanliness levels. At the Pharmacy, players have the option to purchase medicine which helps increase their health levels.
Level up
There are five stages of growth and eight intermediate ones which unlock unique physical features in the Modpod.

Health
The health bar or health level of the pet is critical its overall health. Kimimons can potentially die if they are neglected for several days in a row. Health is affected by happiness, hunger, cleanliness, and diet levels.
