Khanom thang taek
Khanom thang taek is a type of dessert that is found in the street food stalls of Thailand. "Khanom thang taek" translates to Thai-style sweet pancake, also known as Poorman’s Pancakes in English. ln Thai the real translation of thang taek is "broken bucket"(or "broken barrel") which is a phrase for bankruptcy or a person who is broke because with khanom thang taek you certainly get your money’s worth.[1] This dessert is a good snack and easy to make with inexpensive ingredients and that means you can make it on your own.[2]
