Kentucky Route 1320 (KY 1320) is a west-east rural secondary state highway located entirely in Warren County in south-central. The highway mainly traverses the northeastern portion of the county, including the unincorporated communities of Girkin and Anna.
Route description
KY 1320 originates near Anna at a junction with KY 185 (originally KY 67). KY 1320 meanders around mainly rural areas of northeastern Warren County, and ends at a junction with KY 526 not too far from Warren East High School.
History
Before KY 185 moved to its current alignment, KY 185 originally ran through the same areas as KY 1320, causing KY 1320 to intersect with KY 185 twice, at Sand Hill and Girkin. The intersection at Girkin was KY 1320's eastern terminus until KY 185 was rerouted to its current alignment in 1969 after KY 67 was decommissioned.[2]
