Third season

Fifth season

In his last season with the Tigers, Lao played a crucial role as a veteran. With new head coach, Boy Sablan, the Tigers finished the first round of Season 79 on the sixth place, with a 2-5 win-loss record. On the first round game with the Adamson Falcons, Lao lead the team with his season-high 13 points and 8 rebounds.[3] He played on an average of 24 minutes per game.
