Ken Mahoney, (born 1965) is an American financial adviser and investor. He is best known for media appearances and is a producer of Broadway theater.
Career
Financial Advice
Ken Mahoney began working in finance at David Lerner Associates in White Plains, a company specializing in municipal bonds.[1] Mahoney founded Mahoney Asset Management in 1989.[2] He has written and self-published several books about investment and retirement.[3]
Radio and TV
Mahoney began his media career in 1991, when he hosted a call-in financial talk show on local radio station WRCR.[1] Mahoney subsequently appeared as a guest financial contributor on CNBC,[4] NBC News,[5] Fox News,[1] ABC[6] and The Today Show.[7]
In 2015, he was Executive Producer for Emmy winning segments on NJTV's Due Process.[8][9]
Theater
Mahoney became involved with Broadway after a chance meeting with composer Frank Wildhorn, when their sons were on the same baseball team.[10] Between 2011 and 2016, Mahoney produced nine Broadway and two touring productions.[11] Mahoney's productions have won two Tony Awards and a Drama Desk Award.[12]

Mahoney is the Executive Producer for a number of cast recordings including Matilda and Nice Work If You Can Get It, both of which were nominated for Grammy awards.[14][15][16]
Public Service
In 2001, Mahoney became a member of the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley.[17]

Mahoney lives in North Salem, New York.[18] He is married and has two sons.
