Keith Hanvey aka "Newton Heath Keith" (born 18 January 1952 in Manchester) is a retired English professional footballer who played for Manchester City, Swansea City, Rochdale, Grimsby Town and Huddersfield Town. His Debut for Manchester City appearance, in a Texaco Cup match against Airdrie on 27 September 1971.[1]
Early career
Hanvey began his long first team career at Manchester City in 1971 remaining there until 1972 before moving onto several clubs ending his career with Huddersfield Town where he will remain one of the big haired legends!!
Personal life
Hanvey married to Julie, has 3 children and still lives in Huddersfield. He is heavily involved still with Leeds United where he is match day MC and makes appearances at Huddersfield Town FC on a regular basis
