Keith Buttle

Keith Nicholson Buttle CBE (23 November 1900 – 15 December 1973) was a New Zealand businessman and Mayor of Auckland City from 1957 to 1959. He replaced Thomas Ashby in a by-election in November 1957; Ashby died part-way through his term.[1]

Born in Auckland he attended Auckland Grammar School. He was a sharebroker and partner in an Auckland firm of sharebrokers. He was on the Auckland City Council (18 years), Auckland Harbour Board (5 years) and Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority (3 years).[1]
