KVM College of Engineering and Information Technology (KVMCE & IT) is a coeducational self-financing private college located in Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. It is affiliated to CUSAT and has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Government of Kerala.
History
It was established in 2001, offering Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA).[2] Later, in 2005 and 2008 respectively, MSc Biotechnology[3] and MBA[4] programs were introduced. In 2012, the college started B. Tech. courses on Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering.

Organization
The college is under K. Velayudhan Memorial (KVM) Trust, registered on 13 May 1987. It has also established colleges on Pharmacy, Nursing, Special Education and Paramedical Sciences.[5]
Campus
The college campus is located in Kothamangalam and covers an area of 15 acres. It is 4 km away from Cherthala town, 8 km away from Cherthala Railway Station and about 70 km from Nedumbassery Airport.[6] It also hosts library and hostel facilities. The campus is shared with KVM College of Pharmacy.
