HC GKS Katowice is a professional ice hockey team in Katowice, Poland. The team currently plays in the Polska Hokej Liga, the highest level of ice hockey in Poland. The team did not participate in the 2015-16 season due to financial constraints, but have returned for the 2016-17 season.
History
The team was founded in 1920. Katowice won six Polska Liga Hokejowa titles between 1958 and 1970.
