KBM Banka (full legal name: KBM Banka a.d. Kragujevac) (BELEX: CYBN) is a Serbian bank based in Kragujevac. KBM Banka a.d. Kragujevac was established as a joint stock company under the name of Jugobanka Jubanka d.d. Kragujevac, pursuant to the Decision on establishment of the Bank dated 27 June 1991, and the National Bank of Serbia Resolution dated 3 July 1991. The Bank was registered with the Commercial Court in Kragujevac on 9 July 1991. It continues the long history of banking in Kragujevac and Šumadija region.[2] As of August 2013 it is majority owned by the Nova KBM d.d. from Maribor (76.64%) and Government of Serbia (12.89%).[3]
History
- 1871 – Founded in Kingdom of Serbia as Kragujevačka okružna štedionica, the bank started out locally serving Šumadija region.
Over the coming decades its operation was at the mercy of the region's eventful social and geo-political history.
- 1955 – Following World War II and establishment of Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, it re-established operation as Komunalna banka .
- 1970 – The bank was merged into the state owned Jugobanka.
- 1991 – In the midst of the breakup of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, it started operating independently within Jugobanka system as Jugobanka Jubanka a.d. Kragujevac.
- 2000 – Šumadija banka a.d. Kragujevac was merged into the bank.
- 2001 – In June, the bank's assembly agreed on the name change, thus adopting the current name Credy banka.
- 2004 – In December, Srpska regionalna banka a.d. Beograd was merged into Credy banka, further expanding its network in Serbia.
- 2013 – On 2 September, Credy banka changed its name to KBM Banka a.d Kragujevac, after the change in ownership structure.

2011
According to the Individual – Non-Audited financial statement for the first three cumulated quarters of 2011, total net operating revenues of KBM Banka increased with 31.45%, from RSD 774,076 thousands to RSD 1,017,521 thousands. Operating Results increased from RSD −541,910 thousands to RSD 30,473 thousands.[4] In 2011 it had a market capitalization of US$23.341 million.[2]
