Jurkiszki [jurˈkiʂki] (German: Jörkischken, 1938-1945 Jarkental) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Gołdap and 136 km (85 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 120.
