Joris Sainati (born September 25, 1988) is a French professional footballer who currently plays for AC Ajaccio.[1] He began his career with Istres, then played for Lorient,[1] Pau,[2] and Orléans before returning to Istres in 2011.[3]
Sainati was given a 16-month ban after he punched two players of Tours on August 28, 2015, in what was a 2-1 defeat for Ajaccio.[4] This sanction, however, was later reduced to 10 months, thereby making Sainati eligible to play for the 2016–2017 Ligue 2 season.[5]
