Joonas Tamm (born 2 February 1992) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays for Estonian Meistriliiga club Flora and the Estonia national football team. He plays as a centre-back, but he has also played as a forward.

Club career

Tulevik

Tamm started playing football with Tulevik's youth teams. He made his Meistriliiga debut for the first team in 2008.

Flora

In 2009, Tamm signed for Flora and was on loaned to Italian Sampdoria Primavera. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the 2010 season.

Norrköping

On 27 December 2010, Tamm signed for Allsvenskan side Norrköping.[1] On July 2011, he was loaned out to Division 1 side Sylvia. He needed just 10 minutes to score his first goal on his debut, after coming on as a substitute in the second half of the match against Motala.[2]

Trelleborg

On 3 December 2013, he joined Division 1 side Trelleborg.[3]

Return to Tulevik

In 2015, Tamm returned to Estonia and joined Tulevik.

Return to Flora

On 22 June 2015, Tamm signed a contract with Flora.[4] He won his second Meistriliiga title in the 2015 season.

International career

Tamm started his international youth career in 2008 with the under-17 national side, and went on to play for the under-19 and under-21 teams. In June 2011, he was called up to the senior Estonia national team facing Chile and Uruguay.[5] He was one of the eight players who made their debut on 19 June 2011, in a 0–4 defeat against Chile.[6][7]
