Jonathan Andrew Rutherford (born 13 March 1956),[1] is an academic who is a Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Middlesex.[2] Within British politics Rutherford is associated with the Blue Labour school of thought within the British Labour Party,[3] and has been described as one of its "leading thinkers".[4]
