Jonatan Sersam
Jonatan Sersam (born 2 June 1986) is a Swedish composer and pianist. His works have been performed by Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester, Norrköpings Symfoniorkester, John Bauer Brass, Swedish Wind Ensemble, Ruidho Vermelho, Musica Vitae [1] and The Kreutzer Quartet among others. Jonatan Sersam works a lot with different rhythmical structures and what can be described as polymodal harmony.
Biography
Jonatan Sersam was born 1986 in Lövestad, Skåne län. His father Rolf Sersam worked with film and stage music as well as in the progressive rock group Storm (1973–1977). His mother, Anna-Karin Sersam is an actress and a mime. Jonatan Sersam entered the Malmö Academy of Music in 2008, where he studied composition until 2016 with Luca Francesconi. He's also been studying literature, drama and philosophy at Malmö Högskola and at Lund university.
