John Vernon (athlete)

John Vernon (born 3 September 1929) is an Australian former high jumper who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics. He finished seventh in the 1950 British Empire Games high jump. In the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games high jump he finished sixth.[1] Personal Best: HJ – 2.019 (1954).
