Johann Kroll (born February 23, 1984) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman who played primarily with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL. He played 70 games in the American Hockey League with 6 different teams. Prior to the 2010–11 season, Kroll attended the Bears NHL affiliate training camp of the Washington Capitals.[1] After scoring a career high 33 points in 63 games with the Stingrays in the 2011–12 season, Kroll announced his retirement after four professional seasons on September 17, 2012.[2]
