Jeroen Simaeys (Dutch pronunciation: [jəˈrun ˈsi.maːis]) (born 12 May 1985 in Mechelen) is a Belgian footballer who plays as a centre back for Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
Club career
He joined Racing Genk on July 30 2011, and has previously played for Club Brugge, K. Sint-Truidense V.V., Oud-Heverlee Leuven, Butsel and KV Mechelen.
National team career
He made his debut for the senior Belgium national football team in a friendly against Luxembourg on 18 November 2008.
He competed for Belgium at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[1]
