Jamuna Group is one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates.[1] The industries under this conglomerate include Textiles, Chemicals, Leather, motor cycles,[2] Consumer products, Media, Advertisement etc.[3]
Jamuna was established in the 1970s by Nurul Islam Babul, an architect and is the present chairman of the group.[4] He is considered one of the wealthiest men in Bangladesh. Best known for the Jamuna Group and Jamuna Future Park, Babul is also the owner of the Bangla daily Jugantor.[5][6][7]
