Jakob Gapp
Blessed Jakob Gapp (26 July 1897 in Wattens – 13 August 1943) was a Marianist priest who fled the Nazis. He was later abducted by Gestapo agents pretending to be Jews fleeing Nazism and desiring to convert.[1]
Gapp was beheaded on 13 August 1943. He was beatified on 24 November 1996.[2][3]
