J. Wood (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Wood's batting style is unknown.
Wood made his first-class debut for the Surrey Club against the Marylebone Cricket Club at The Oval in 1848. He later made a second first-class appearance for the club against the same opposition at Lord's in 1851.[1] He scored a total of 39 runs in his two matches, averaging 9.75, with a high score of 12.[2]
