J. David Molson
John David Molson (born June 1, 1928) is a son of John Henry Molson and Florence Hazel Browne. Educated in Montreal and then in Bruxelles (1948-1950). Joined Molson Breweries Limited in 1949 and held various positions until appointed vice-president in January 1964. Married Claire Vermilyea in 1955 with whom he has two sons (John Henry and David Hugh) and one daughter (Catherine Elizabeth). He was a President of the Montreal Canadiens from 1964 until 1972. He succeeded Hartland Molson and was succeeded by Jacques Courtois. He won 5 Stanley Cups with Montreal in 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, and 1971.
