Ion Codreanu

Ion Codreanu (1891–1960) was a Romanian brigadier-general during World War II.
Biography
In 1941, he was first Director Higher Cavalry Department, and then Commanding Officer 6th Cavalry Division. He became Head Historical Service General Staff and then Head Royal Military Household in 1942. In 1943, he served as Vice Chief General Staff and then Commandant Higher War School. Codreanu was Chief Operations General Staff in 1944, Inspector of Cavalry in 1945, and General Officer Commanding 2nd Corps Area in 1946. He went into reserve and then retired in 1947.[1]
