International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES)

The International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) has been active since 1984. This umbrella organization is acting as a service provider, network and platform for its international members.

Mission Statement

Originary aim of the IFES is to assist its members in a rapidly changing events market through information and knowledge and an intensive exchange of experience. In addition to support in the fields of marketing, law, technology and the development of industry-current indicators a big focus of the association is on the training and development within the industry.^[2][3][4]

Structure

To meet the very different prospective justice there are various ways to enter into a membership. These vary in rights and duties associated therewith membership fees.

The board of the IFES works voluntarily and is elected for three years by the General Assembly . In addition to President and Vice-President the past-president, treasurer and the responsible of the planning committee belong to the bureau as well as the seven heads of working groups belong.

Main contact and organizational center of the association is the office in Frankfurt (Germany) with a total of three employees.^[5][6][7] Official partner of UFI.
